Dr. Ashish Malpani
(Consultant Pediatric Endocrinologist)
Dr. Ashish Malpani is a Consultant Pediatric Endocrinologist (American Board) who currently works at American Hospital in Dubai. At the hospital, he offers the Pediatric Endocrinology service. Actively committed in educating medical students and residents, he holds an adjunct Associate Professor position at both University of Sharjah and University of Gulf.
Dr Ashish Malpani holds dual board certifications in Pediatric Endocrinology and Pediatrics from the United States. He has worked in USA’s premier hospitals, in New York City and Stat of Florida, USA.
He is an expert in every facet of Pediatric endocrinology. His areas of clinical competence include but not limited to, growth abnormalities (growth hormone treatment, for example), pubertal disorders (sexual development in girls and boys began earlier than usual), thyroid problems (acquired from birth or later in life), adrenal disorders (diseases connected to cortisone and testosterone). Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes management, insulin pump therapy, Hyperinsulinism, Obesity (multidisciplinary team approach and medicines approved for weight loss), Irregular periods, PCOD/PCOS etc.
He has papers published in reputable publications and is actively involved in training and research. He has made national and international conference presentations. In addition to serving on the educational platform, he had served on the University of Florida, College of Medicine's scientific review and ethics committees for research initiatives.
